Google has settled down on agreements with more than 40 third party app developers for them to help the the Internet giant with its latest integration in the Google Now. As per the official statements, Google Now will come bundled with features that will enable the users to have the relevant information from the third party apps in the form of new Google Now cards.
Starting this Friday, users can always look for the relevant information from the third party without launching them.
Considering a scenario where you have placed bid on an eBay listing. Earlier, there were no Now cards for it, however, with this new update in the Google app for Android, the Internet giant has done enough to make the updates from the eBay app right in the Google Now — usually accessible by sliding to the right.
Google inked down with companies, including Pandora, Lyft, Airbnb, Dueling and Guardian, to have their information displayed in the Now cards. Whether it is about delivering the morning news, or the Pandora music playing on your commute. Google Now will now be able to provide the relevant information and features from the third party apps at the time you need it.
Google said, “Starting today, the Google app on Android can help you keep up with all the good stuff in 40 different apps at a glance—it’ll bring you Now cards to help you out with your day-to-day life, giving you information that’s helpful to you, right when you need it”
“In the morning, catch up on news of the day with cards from The Guardian. On your commute, Pandora can give you recommendations for music to play, based on what you like, or you can be reminded to complete your daily French lesson on Duolingo.” the Internet giant added.
Google is also working with more than 30 developers to bring in more cards for the Now. It is possible that users will be able to get the information even before they may ask for it.
