Apple Inc, ( NASDAQ : APPL ) has announced the dates for the annual WWDC event. Just for you to freeze the calender, the event has been scheduled from 2nd June to 6th June this year. While this time the new ticket application process is not going to be a first come first serve, a person has to be a priority to get selected for the WWDC. The registration is open till this Monday, and the company will be doing a random selection of 5000 applications.

The company’s annual event, WWDC – World Wide Developer Conference, is only available for those who are a part of paid Apple Developer Program, or iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or Mac Developer Program. With the tickets priced at $1599, Apple is restricting most of its developers from making their way to the conference.

At the WWDC, Apple is expected to announce the well rumored iOS 8 and may introduce other new Apple products. Last year only, Apple at the same conference, introduced the revolutionary cylindrical yet powerful Mac Pro.

Earlier we reported that the upcoming iOS 8 will be having square icons with rounds corners, and is very much like the current iOS 7.1 . It also includes some more apps like Preview, TextEdit —-these apps have been a part of Mac OS X for few years, and Health Book. Not enough to say but TextEdit in the iOS 8 will only be limited to view the documents and PDFs, not for editing them.

Apple is also expected to introduce a new line of Macbook Air, probably with Retina display this time. Assuming that Apple will be making a move to remove non-Retina Apple Macbook Pro from its shelves, we are hoping something new in this section also. The company may or may not come up with new models of Retina Macbook Pros.

Apple has also been rumored to introduce smart wearables at the WWDC, the company has been working with a number of health experts to build devices for health conscious people.
