CUPERTINO – Apple Inc. (AAPL) is preparing to release its iPhone 6 in the third quarter of this year and rumors regarding its official release date don’t cease to appear. According to a new report, Cupertino’s smartphone might be released on September 19th.

Apple is silent to the end and refuses to make official statements about the release of the iPhone 6, but the Deutsche Telekom, the German wireless-network provider, told its call center agents to prepare their customers for the most expected launch of the year, because on September 19, the iPhone 6 will be released on the market. This news appeared on the German website Apfelpage.de, and many other websites have spread the rumor worldwide.

The German telecom carrier, which is also the owner of T-Mobile (Deutsche Telekom’s operating entity in the U.S.) recommended its customers that have contracts which are about to end, or they have ended already, to extend their contracts because with this occasion, they’ll be able to buy the new Apple’s smartphone.

No confirmation from Apple regarding iPhone 6’s release date

We don’t know if Apple revealed its intentions to Deutsche Telekom and it’s very unlikely that Cupertino had said anything about the iPhone 6’s launch date to any of its partners, but since everybody is certain that the phone will be released in September, this speculated date might actually be the real date of the launch.

Plus, Apple has released its last two models on a Friday and September 19, according to the calendar, falls on a Friday. Apple is participating at the Worldwide Developers Conference, which will take place next week, and company will reveal its new iOS 8, but the fans are hoping to hear something conclusive regarding iPhone 6’s release date.

According to a report from DigiTimes, Foxconn Technology Co Ltd will produce the smartphone which will come with a 4.7-inch display. Foxconn Technology Co Ltd will be the first supplier for the iPhone 6, because it will cover 70% of the orders, while the rest of the orders will be supplied by Pegatron Corporation.
