CUPERTINO – APPLE INC. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is going to make some huge announcements at its coming WWDC annual conference. The conference is expected to house the announcements related to next generation iPhone 6, a new version Apple’s mobile operating system iOS 8, and OS X 10.10. The new iPhone 6 is expected to feature a bigger 4.7-inch Retina 2 display as compared to its predecessors.

The demand for bigger display phones has increased tremendously in last few years, which has pushed the competitors of Apple to release smartphones with display sizes ranging between 4.5″ to 6.3 inches. Even the recently launched Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inches Full-HD screen, and HTC has also increased the screen size from 4.7″ to 5″ in second generation of its flagship series of smartphone popularly known as HTC One.

Rumors mills for the upcoming Apple iPhone 6 have started again, an Italian blog recently leaked a few pictures showing the design of the upcoming iPhone 6. Earlier we reported that the third parties are already manufacturing the hulls for the iPhone and it is without any doubt that the designs of the hulls matches exactly with this new iPhone 6.

The design has completely changed, and the iPhone 6 is now taller and thinner than it was ever before. To achieve this level of thinness in the iPhone 6, the Cupertino giant has re-designed the volume buttons. They are now thin and rectangular in shape. The power button has been shifted to one of the lateral edges of the iPhone and the ‘silent’ switch is much thinner than it was ever before.

The body for the iPhone is again all metallic but is now curved giving a better grip over a large 4.7 inches screen. At the bottom, unlike two drilled grills, iPhone 6 is only having a row of large holes with a few more for the mic. There was a familiar territory with the same lightning connector and Touch ID fingerprint sensor and big news here is that the new iPhone 6 probably be having an ultra-Retina Display and powerful next generation 64-bit A8 processor with M8 motion sensors. With 64-bit processors, the battery for iPhone 5 significantly improved and we are hoping the same from upcoming iPhone 6.

Apple would probably be releasing the 4.7-inch version of iPhone 6 running the new iOS 8 after a month at the WWDC. In some recent news Apple is putting some apps in the iOS which originally belongs to the Mac OS X where, on the other hand, the company has re-designed the Mac OS X — which looks pretty much as the Apple iOS 7. The new Mac OS X 10.10 has been code named as “Syrah” and would also be released at the WWDC this year.
