Blake Shelton – Miranda Lambert combine for 13 Nominations at CMA

Blake Shelton has released two six-song albums and a greatest-hits set [Look At It Here].

Miranda Lambert was nominated for 9 awards and Blake Shelton 4. The couple plan on being married in the spring.

Shelton actually was going to record the Lambert hit single The House That Built Me. As he recalls one night on the drive from Dallas to their home in Oklahoma he played the song for her.

“It was dark, and she wasn’t saying anything….I looked over, and I could see from the dash lights that she was seriously bawling. I said ‘If that song means that much to you, you should record it.’ The crying tripled after that.”

There is no question that both of these two super stars are on the top of their games. Their music and relationship is a showcase for all of positive things that are in the entertainment industry today.
