CCleaner which has been mostly used in Windows to boost performance by cleaning temporary and useless files residing on the system. The app has now also arrived for the Android devices under a beta release. The app, which is now available to download from Google Play, comes bundled with a number of features to increase performance for Android devices.
While a few of the features are already available in the Android itself, the app can perform tasks including clearing of cache and bulk uninstallation of unwanted apps. CCleaner can even clear the data from the clipboard and is also capable of cleaning up the browser history. The app has also come up with few other great features to clean a custom folder, or even optimize the RAM and storage area. And if you are having a rooted phone, this app can offer you some great features.
If you are willing to download this app, first, you have join the Google+ CCleaner community, then at the Google Play store, click on ‘become a tester’ to get started. And since this app is in beta phase, unexpected results are going to be frequent.
Similar to the CCleaner there is another app called Clean Master running on the Android platform. The app is one of the most downloaded apps and holds some extra features. When compared with CCleaner, Clean Master has an additional security feature. The app can “Scan the system, pre-installed and user-installed apps to keep your device safe from viruses, trojans, vulnerabilities, adware and spyware. Remove personal and sensitive information to protect your privacy”. The rest of the features are somewhat similar to those of CCleaner.
While CCleaner is still in beta, there is still more room for adding new features and improving the performance of the app. CCleaner is mostly seen in the Windows and Apple computers, but now since it has made its way to the Android devices, it would be interesting to see if the app can be that effective.
