According to some recent reports the next model in the line of Nexus devices — Nexus 6, is going to be from the Taiwan based smartphone manufacture — HTC. Running the latest version of Android, probably Android version 4.5 or 5.0, the phone will debut by the end of this year.

Other then HTC to manufacture the new Google Nexus 6, the device has also been hit with a lot of rumors. The new Nexus is probably going to have a  5.5-inch screen and will be based on the successor of HTC One — the HTC One M8.

By housing a powerful yet battery efficient 64 bit processor, the new Nexus 6 is going to be a total game changer for the Android smartphones, till now its been only introduced in the Apple iPhone 6. Making it tougher than ever, the device, along with a metallic body, would house a screen made out from a sapphire glass. The screen would be 5.5-inches in size and is going to have a native 2K resolution.

Although the company hasn’t integrated any fingerprint sensors in the new HTC One M8, Nexus 6 is expected to have one. Analyst believe that the upcoming device from the Google will also follow the trend of integrating the smartphones with a fingerprint sensor.

Earlier we had some rumors from the Digitimes stating that the Google is planning  planning to ‘wow’ its customers with upcoming variants of Nexus tablets. The company is expected to launch an upgraded version of Nexus 7 with a very new Nexus 8.9 large-size tablet. But for now these rumors seems to diminish away.

They reported, ” Although Google may still release a smaller-size model in 2014, its strategy of skipping most of the sizes in the 8-inch range and going for an 8.9-inch display – a size that [could] be categorized as large-size tablet (9-inch and above) – shows that the Internet giant is starting to shift its focus to large-size tablet applications.”
