Palo Alto – Hewlett Packard (NASDAQ: HPQ), this Tuesday, announced a new service called HP Enterprise Applications Services for Workday, which has been specially tailored to integrate HCM or Human Capital Management services with cloud. HP said, “Companies looking to modernize their existing HCM applications are transitioning these enterprise computing platforms from on-premises to the cloud. This can help them reduce costs, streamline HR and payroll processes, and realize a faster return on their investment. ”

Workday is essentially a service to manage the HCM, company said that it will help in building an effective team, quick decision and gain reliability. The service provides a cost effective cloud service and has been designed according the way people do the work. The service can also be accessed over the mobile devices.

“HP joins the Workday services partner ecosystem with a long history of successfully deploying enterprise applications on a global scale,” said Jim Bozzini, senior vice president, Services, Workday. “HP is making a significant investment in building out its Workday practice and we look forward to working with them to help our mutual customers transform their businesses.”

HP was working on Workday for almost 14 months. “Given the sheer size and scale of HP, an on-premises, enterprise implementation project of this scope could take up to three years to complete, from design to launch,” said Scott Spradley, chief information officer, Global Functions, HP. “We were able to deliver Workday in only 14 months, resulting in a significant upgrade in efficiency, usability, capability and satisfaction across the entire scope of employee and manager self-services.”

The customers for Enterprise Application Services for Workday will be offered technical help from HCM certified people, who will assist in upgrading the existing HCM systems.
