HTC announced to launch its latest flagship of One smartphone this Tuesday, the new One. Coming exclusively with the Verizon, the new HTC One will be available right after the launch event in the New York. No other carrier would have it for at-least two weeks.
Giving enough room to hit it with more rumors, the new HTC One or M8 is coming in three colors, silver, gray and gold, and is going to have two rear cameras designed to capture more stabilized and better quality photographs. Providing more details and texture, the software designed will process both the images to make it more lifelike.
It also houses a Snapdragon processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and 2GB of RAM. Coming in 16GB and 32GB variants, the phone will support external MicroSD cards upto 128GB of capacity. The screen for this phone is of 5-inches and has a pixel density of 441ppi with 1080p resolution.
In some other events HTC also rolled out Android KitKat updates for the HTC One owned by customers in the UK. After being announced, the users with carriers including Vodafone and O2 can now download this update.
Company’s website stated, ” HTC is focused on providing timely software updates for both HTC Sense™ innovation and major Google Android™ releases. In an effort to bring transparency to this process, we will be marking the steps of preparation and our progress, by device and carrier.”
While the new Samsung Galaxy S5 is also around the corner, the HTC One is expected to raise it share in the smartphone market. A recent report from the comScore, a research firm, reflected that the company’s share in the smartphone market is very low and Samsung is just next to the leading company, Apple Inc. While the facts provided are not that accurate, companies launching new phones in the market will hit a definite rise.
