After launching the new HTC One M8, the Taiwanese handset giant is now looking forward to bring one packed in the plastic body. Reports stated that the new plastic HTC One M8 would be no different in terms of hardware and design. The device would be having the same specifications but with a lower price tag.
HTC One M8, no doubt, is one of the finest phone company has ever launched. The rich and smooth experience and the dual rear camera definitely makes it stand out of the crowd, but to own it, one has to burn hole in the pocket. The unlocked version of it costs $699 and with contract for two years one has to pay $199.
Price for the new HTC One M8 would definitely be lower than the one with all metallic body, according to the reports, the unlocked phone is likely to have a price tag of $483 and with contract it would be around $150 or less.
The new device, which is expected to launch by the end of the next month, is likely to be a new variant of HTC Butterfly, and in terms of performance it is no less than current HTC One M8.
Specifications for it will be as same as of the HTC One M8, it will house a powerful 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM with 16GB or 32GB of storage. Also with a microSD card slot, the external storage for this phone can be extended up to 128GB. The 5-inch screen of this phone has 16 million colors to display, it has a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels with a pixel density of around 441 ppi.
Apple last year also replaced the iPhone 5 with iPhone 5C, which resulted in a big flop and we are not hoping same with the new HTC One M8 because except the metallic body the phone is equivalent to HTC One M8 in all terms.
