Samsung Electronics is reportedly few weeks away from launching its next-gen flagship of this year. As per the sources, the upcoming Samsung smartphone will boast a 5.1-inch display, which is sloped on both the vertical sides.
According to the leaks that have surfaced on the Internet, the new device looks much familiar to Galaxy Note Edge. It is no unfamiliar territory as the company already introduced one curved display in the previously launched Samsung Galaxy Edge.
In addition, reports also suggest that the South Korean smartphone giant is expected to launch two smartphones having a metallic body along with a flat display. Samsung denied to shed a word on it, however, one of them is rumoured to be the next Samsung Galaxy S6.
Several reports, including leaks and an apparent promotional photo, reveal that Samsung is not going to launch one smartphone, but nearly five devices having curved and flat displays.
Even though there is no confirmation, Samsung is expected to maintain the tradition and launch these smartphones in the World Mobile Congress set to happen in March in Barcelona. The South Korean giant has even denied to shed a word on this.
The company has revealed in a official blog post on Wednesday that its 2015 flagship device’s camera will be “intelligent and do all the thinking for users, allowing them to take amazing pictures under any conditions.”
Meanwhile, one can expect Galaxy S6 to get unveiled in upcoming Mobile World Congress 2015 as Samsung Group has sent invites for an event scheduled for March 1. The invite clearly gives impressions of the Galaxy Note Edge and its curved edge variant.
As per the previous rumours, Galaxy S6 will be supported by a Snapdragon 810 or 64-bit Exynos 7420 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM, running on Android’s latest 5.0 Lollipop flavour.
