Samsung Group has announced to launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 with three different variants and while praising its upcoming line of Galaxy devices, the company said, “Perfect for all ages, Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy Tab 4 line offers an exceptional multimedia experience in a more premium and portable design, making it ideal for viewing or sharing content with friends and family.”
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Price and Release Date
The Android Giant has not yet given any confirmation on the price details but has affirmed that the tablets will hit the shelves in the second quarter of the year 2014. Analyst believe that the Tab 4 will be available in the market anytime before the end of June.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Specs
The Tab 4 series is composed of three tablets viz. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 specs
The Tab 4 7.0 will house a powerful 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, 7.0-inch WXGA (1280 X 800) display, its dimensions would be 107.9 x 186.9 x 9 mm and would weigh just under 300 gm. It will be equipped with a 3MP fixed focus rear camera and 1.3MP front camera. The rear camera will also support 720p recording with a playback of 1080p. This Tab will also come loaded with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, BT4.0, USB2.0, and GPS with GLONASS.

The Tab 4 8.0 will have a 8.0-inch WXGA (1280 X 800) display, its dimensions would be 124.0 x 210.0 x 7.95mm, will weigh 320 gm and again would house 1.2 GHz Quad Core Processor. Both 4 7.0 and 4 8.0 will have a 3MP fixed focus rear camera with 1.3MP front Camera supporting 720p recording at 30fps with a playback of 1080p at 30fps. This Tab will offer connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, BT4.0, USB2.0, GPS with GLONASS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 will land with a 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor, 10.1-in WXGA (1280 X 800) display having a dimensions of 243.4 x 176.4 x 7.95mm, and weighs just under 500 gm. Unarguably, it will be running an Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is pretty much same for the other Galaxy Tab 4 devices. Internal storage for it is 16GB with a support for external micro SD card expandable upto 128GB. Camera specs for this device also aligns perfectly with other versions of Tab 4.
The year 2014, till now, didn’t saw any good designs in the market of tablets, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 line is expected to stir it all.
