CUPERTINO – Apple Inc. has indicated that it will reveal some major details regarding the release of their upcoming iPhone 6 and iOS 8. According to the new revelation, Apple will launch the iPhone 6 much earlier than expected.
The new iPhone 6 is said to feature a 4.7-inch screen and major design overhaul as compared to its predecessors. From last couple of years Apple has been launching its new iPhones in mid-September, but if reports to be believed, Apple will launch iPhone 6 almost a month earlier.
Sources familiar to Apple production line has stated that it has been made possible due to the availability of all required resources for production on time, and obviously thanks to new Apple’s component supplies partners.
Based on supply chains estimate, Apple Inc. is seen to be shipping a total of 80 million units for 2014.
The news of a month early release of iPhone 6 with a bigger screen has increased the tension at the fort of Apple’s biggest competitor in mobile industry. The South Korean electronics giant, Samsung is not at all happy with the sales of Galaxy S5 and has already fired the head of its smartphone design division. Even the speculations are high for a release of metal body version Galaxy S5 later this year.
The foresaid iPhone 6 release with 4.7-inch screen will worsen the situation for Samsung. The failed launch of Galaxy S5 and early release of iPhone 6 are pushing Samsung to release the next iteration of its popular phablet series, Galaxy Note 4, earlier than its scheduled release time.
