IFA 2014 – Samsung Group in an launch event, just announced the launch of the Galaxy Note 4 device. The South-Korean giant not only announced a next generation Samsung Galaxy Note, but the company also introduced Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, a Note device having curved edge screen. Company claims it to be the most innovative screen any smartphone ever had.
First starting off with the Galaxy Note 4. The Note 4 has an all metallic design, 2.5D glass, light curved display and weighs just under 180gms with a thickness of 8.5 mm. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be launched four exciting colors – Black, White, Pink and Gold. It has a new brighter front and rear camera, having 16 MP and 3 MP respectively. Samsung Galaxy Note 4, now allows you to take a wide 120 degree selfie just by hitting the heartbeat sensor on the back.
Galaxy Note 4 is unarguably the most advanced smartphone Samsung has ever launched. Company has packed it with an all new 5.7 QHD Super Amoled screen, and has features such a transparent widgets and dynamic lock screen.
However, the big news here is the S-Pen, along with all previous features that came in the earlier versions of the Note devices, the S pen now works on the home screen, and is able to detect the pressure applied on it.
Another great feature is the Snap Note, the feature easily allows you to take a picture of a document and convert it into text. Then you can change the color, or edit the text in the image. It makes everyday tasks a lot more easier than ever.
Taking on one of the major issues we usually encounter with a smartphone, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, now offers advanced battery charging capabilities that charges the device battery to 50% in just 30 minutes. It now has an increased battery life having a capacity of 3220 mAh.
One big news here is that Samsung Galaxy Note 4, now has a set of 3 mics for recording three different voices simultaneously, a new flip wallet LED cover and S Wallet cover. The company partnered with Swarovski to produce gems embedded covers, and with Mont-Blanc to manufacture luxurious covers for its customers.
Coming down to the all new Galaxy Note Edge, the device has a curved edge screen with seven scroll-able edges. All the notification landing on your device, now will be visible on the edge screen in the Galaxy Note Edge. The company has equipped the device with QHD edge screen in the device, and holds various features such home button.
Another wearable which has been introduced by the Samsung is Gear S, comes with a 2-inch super AMOLED display. It can actively connect to 20 galaxy devices simultaneously. It comes with few different clock faces and is equipped with features such as 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and lot more. Samsung Gear S can be actively used for health monitoring and motivation. Whether you are doing hiking or weight lifting, Samsung Gear S will provide you with all of the required information.
