Sony Corp. will now release the PlayStation TV in the next month. Company today announced that the PlayStation TV will now be available to purchase after October 14th. The device will cost $100 and $140 (WiFi variant) respectively, and will allow its users to stream the live gameplay on the TV screen and online both.
This new exciting device from Sony, which was announced a few months ago, is currently in BETA testing and will be of great use to the ‘gamers.’ This little box can easily drive displays with HD streaming, and it is also capable of streaming it online via Sony’s PlayStation network.
Along with the release of the PlayStation TV, the Tokyo-based giant will also be releasing as many as 700 titles for download. However, the PlayStation TV comes along a title too. An individual can purchase the device stand alone for $99 or with a bundle that includes a Dual Shock controller, 8GB SD card and a copy of Lego Movie Game for $140.
However, in an another deal, the company announced a limited edition PlayStation TV available at the Walmart. This limited edition includes a PlayStation TV, a Dual Shock controller, 8 GB SD card, and a copy of Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. It will also sell at a price of $140.
The company has already sold as many as 7 million PlayStation 4 units and is expecting to drive more figures from the PlayStation TV. It is without any doubt that this new device will help the gamers to achieve flexibility in streaming their game-play online. However, the performance of the device will be known after it is launched.
