Sprint has officially revealed the HTC One E8, becoming the first major  carrier to introduce HTC’s top of the line smartphone in States. It is actually the ‘plastic’ version of the HTC One M8 with few changes, and it’s available at Sprint for for $499 off-contract, or $99.99 on a 2-year contract after a mail-in rebate.

The phone packs Android 4.4. with Snapdragon 801 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 5-inch 1080p display, and 2,600 mAh battery just like the HTC One M8. However, HTC has replaced the Duo Camera with 13 MP camera instead of 4MP Ultra pixel camera .

HTC One M8 is successor of one of the finest smartphones ever made by HTC, the One. The HTC One and One M8 helped HTC to stood up again as they were going through really hard times. HTC One E8 is basically an affordable version of One M8 and it was initially introduced in Asian markets, where HTC sold 50,000 units in just 15 minutes, and more than 2 million people reserved it on a large online retailer.

The device is available at Sprint’s online store, and also when it is compared to the M8, there’s a difference. HTC One M8 is available on Sprint for $649 off-contract and $199 on a 2-year contract, so users who are not very much into metal finish body would enjoy the discount because almost everything else is same under the hood.

People who are looking forward to purchase the One M8, but they are tight on budget should try the HTC One E8, because it will be almost equally good and much affordable.
