Verizon is all ready to offer you some perks for this holiday season. Right before you will be travelling for the Thanksgiving, Verizon will have some special gifts for you. The nation’s largest and one of the biggest carriers has just announced that it will give you free goodies that include, movies, Wi-Fi, audiobooks, streaming and lot more. However, the best part here is that the individual need to be a Verizon customer.
The carrier is working with several other companies to provide you with the goodies. The bigger names are Apple, Amazon, Boingo, Wireless, Gogo Technologies, JetBlue and lot other. The offers that the wireless consumer can enjoy on the 26th November are, Mobile access to popular movies and TV shows, compliments of Verizon FiOS, by downloading the free FiOS Preview app.
A Selection of ten free/discounted apps, plus two free Audible book downloads (new members) or $10 Audible credit (current members) from Amazon.
A special iTunes offer from Apple, which will be revealed on Nov. 26
Free Digital Edition downloads of 17 Conde Nast Publications, including Wired, Vanity Fair and GQ.
30-minute complimentary Internet sessions through Boingo Wireless (at airports) and Gogo Technologies (in-flight).
Free in-flight Fly-Fi (Wi-Fi) on Jet Blue flights between Nov. 26 and Dec. 24.

The day has been named as the ‘connection day’, and Verizon has also set up a website for that reason. On the website, you can sign up and look for the deals and other offers. Also, you can set up an alert for the one that is out of stock or is not available for the moment. However, being a part of the Verizon network, the customer gets an additional 1GB of sharable data along with the another 1 GB for your next billing cycle.
“As we approach the holiday season, we wanted to show how much we appreciate our customers,” Ken Dixon, vice president of marketing for Verizon Wireless, said in a statement. “We hope that not only our customers, but everyone, will take advantage of this day — a day to connect with family and friends, to learn something new about their device, or just to provide a little more entertainment during what can often be a hectic kick off to the holiday season.”
