An excellent feature of iPhone 6 can now be used on Verizon wireless. As per the announcement from the carrier, they have now officially launched their voice over LTE service, or VoLTE. If you are using your latest Apple device with Verizon then, you will now be able to play around with apps and browse to the internet while you talk.
The company also announced its new “Advanced Calling 1.0” which allows iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus users to enjoy what Verizon is describing as “HD voice”. It is entirely free and offers quality service to its users. In addition to it, they have acquired all the rights to sell the iPhone after three years, and will unarguably elevate the popularity of the US-based carrier in the industry.
To enable this feature, users must have to configure their phone through settings in iOS 8 and choose ‘enable LTE voice and data.’
This feature has added the HD voice support or wideband audio technology. In order to experience this feature, both lines must use a wideband audio-enabled handset, and it is worth sharing that other iPhone running on rival networks also support HD Voice or wideband audio and voice over LTE.
With this remarkable feature Verizon is on a level to sell more iPhones and high end android phones. However, the company launched its VoLTE network earlier this month for Samsung Galaxy S5 and the LG G2 and are the only Android phones that are capable of using this feature. The company is also shipping iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus with unlocked nano-SIM card slot. This offer is useful for the customers who have activities in another country. These customers are now allowed to use local prepaid SIM in different countries and use the device in lieu of using the same number and spending more due to overage and hefty call charges.
